Suspected Fulani Herdsmen Attack Ogun Community, Kill Three Hunters
- Suspected Fulani herdsmen have reportedly attacked Ogun community, killing three hunters.
There was pandemonium in Imeko, Ogun State, on Sunday night as suspected Fulani herdsmen, invaded the community and killed three hunters.
The herdsmen were said to have left Igangan in Oyo State, a few kilometres away, and invaded a community in Imeko, Imeko-Afon Local Government Area of Ogun State.
EKO HOT BLOG gathered that the suspected Fulani herdsmen were resisted by hunters in the area from wreaking havoc.

It was further learnt that three of the hunters lost their lives in the gun battle with the herdsmen.
A source in the area revealed that residents of the community are now apprehensive about the incident, adding that the operatives of the security outfit launched by the Ogun State Government last month asked the hunters to face the Fulani herdsmen while they went to sleep.
“Three hunters were killed overnight by Fulani herdsmen that left Igangan,” the source disclosed.
When contacted, the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the command was not aware of the incident.
