Suspected Killer Of Oyo Pregnant Lady Arrested

A suspect connected to the murder of a pregnant woman, Azeezat Somuyiwa, has been arrested by operatives of the Oyo State Police Command.

This was announced in a statement by the state Police Public Relations Officer, Olugbenga Fadeyi.

The incident occurred on June 5 in Ibadan.

Olumuyiwa said “A suspect has been arrested with respect to Somuyiwa’s murder. We are currently on the investigation of Barakat Bello’s death.

“We are intensifying efforts to arrest other suspects linked with both incidents.

“The suspect is providing useful information to assist the police in their investigation.

Ekohotblog recalls that Azeezat, a seven months old pregnant woman was killed with a stone by some yet-to-be-identified assailants at her residence in the Aba Ijefun, Akinyele Local Government Area of the state.
