Suspended Kwara Lawmaker Writes States Assembly, Demands Apology.
The only People’s Democratic Party (PDP) member in the Kwara State house of Assembly, Hon. Raheem Agboola has written to the state house of assembly demanding an apology for false misrepresentation of his suspension.
The state house of assembly member, representing Ilorin South constituency has decried the false allegations levelled against him by the chairman, Kwara State House of Assembly Service Commission, Mr. Femi Yusuf, during one of his interview with an online television; JustEventOnlineTV, misrepresenting the reason for the suspension of Hon. Raheem Agboola.
According to Mr Femi Yusuf, he alleged that the embattled Lawmaker was suspended for going against the house rules which Hon. Agboola considered as a deliberate attempt to misinform the populace.

Reacting to this, Hon Agboola wrote through his secretary, Mrs Bello .A. Oyindamola
“Our attentions has been drawn to an online interview you granted, anchored by JustEventOnlineTV on the 7th October, 2021 where you made an assertion that I attacked and went against the rule of the House.”
“You’re hereby advised to tender an unreserved apology letter and retract this statement via the following radio stations, Sobi FM, Albarka FM, Royal FM, Garin FM, SBS FM, Midland FM, National Pilot, Herald Newspaper, including JustEventOnlineTV etc.”
The letter further assured Mr. Femi Yusuf that, “Failure to do this within seven days will leave us with no option that to take a legal action against you where you’ll explain better the aspect of the law I breached”, it read.
“Consequently, a copy of this letter has been directed to the Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Salihu Danladi, the Clerk of the House, Hajjia Halimat Kperogi and the Majority Leader, Hon. Abubakar Magaji Olawoyin.”
