Taaooma, Abula Welcome Their First Child
Popular Nigerian skit maker and content creator, Taaooma, and her husband, Abula, have shared the joyful news of the arrival of their first child, a baby girl. The couple took to Instagram on December 5, 2024, to announce the birth with a heartwarming collaborative post, offering fans a sneak peek at their newborn daughter.
The post revealed that the baby girl, named Amani Korede Makeda Greene, was born on November 7, 2024. The announcement has since been met with an outpouring of love and congratulations from fans, friends, and celebrities alike.
The Couple’s Journey
Taaooma and Abula’s love story has captured the hearts of many over the years. The two met in Ilorin, Kwara State during Abula’s National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) year. Their shared passion for filmmaking and editing drew them together, setting the foundation for a beautiful relationship.
Abula proposed to Taaooma in 2020, but he went above and beyond with a proposal she never saw coming. He took her all the way to Namibia, where she spent part of her childhood. In an interview with BellaNaija, Taaooma shared how the proposal came as a complete surprise.
“The proposal came as a shock to me because I had no clue he was planning this right under my nose,” Taaooma recalled. “I remember there was a time he asked me to try on something for my hands, thinking it was just some item from a set designer he worked with. Little did I know, it was a ring sizer. When we got to the rooftop and I saw all my friends there, I knew something special was happening. It was such an amazing feeling saying yes to my best friend.”
The couple tied the knot in January 2021, though many of their fans were unaware until they marked their first wedding anniversary. Fast forward to 2024, and their relationship has blossomed into a happy family of three with the birth of their daughter.
The announcement of their baby’s arrival sparked an outpouring of love from fans, friends, and fellow celebrities. Nigerian stars took to the comment section to shower the couple with congratulations.
Teni, the popular Nigerian singer, shared her excitement by commenting, “Congrats to you both! Amani is lucky to have you as parents. Blessings and love always!”
Influencer Enioluwa, known for his charismatic online presence, also congratulated the couple, writing, “Awwww, congratulations to the beautiful couple. Amani is already a star!”
