Tax Reform Bills: Approach With Transparency, Public Involvement -Peter Obi Urges Tinubu

The 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi, has called on the federal government to hold a public hearing before enacting the proposed tax reform bills.

Obi, in a statement on Monday, emphasized the significance of tax reform, noting that while it is a critical issue and should be approached with transparency and public involvement.

Obi urged the government to prioritize transparency, deliberation, and public engagement in its decision-making process, concluding that such measures are vital for fostering a participatory democracy.
