Teacher Proposes To Girlfriend Through Newspaper Article

Many online readers are anticipating the response of one Turah Mokeira to her boyfriend’s unique proposal.

The guy who is a Kenyan high school teacher, got people talking after he proposed to girlfriend, Turah Mokeira, through a newspaper.

Identified as Boniface Ong’era  Masese, the teacher celebrated his 28th birthday by asking a local newspaper to publish an article about him.

Masese said as someone with a rural background, birthdays were not a big deal and that is why he didn’t believe in celebrating one until now.

He added that his friends always poked fun at him for being so closed off to birthday festivities.

However, this time around his birthday meant some much to him because he anticipated doing something ”special.”

“Patiently yet anxiously I waited for this date to happen. I am so excited that it is finally here,” he said.
