EKO HOT BLOG reports that palpable anxiety has gripped the residents of Ibadan as a policeman has been allegedly killed by commercial drivers at New Garage area of Ibadan, Oyo State capital.
The incident was revealed on Fresh FM during a radio program, Oyato by Akinkunmi Alabi on Friday, June 10, 2022.
A staff of the radio station, Samson Akindele stated that the incident occurred after the commercial drivers refused to bribe the policeman which led to an altercation.
It was gathered on the radio program that the policeman died in the fracas that lasted till yesterday evening.
They also noted that the man who anonymously affirmed the policeman’s death was a policeman whose aim was to implicate the commercial drivers.

Although, at the time of filing this report, the police were yet to react to the incident. However, sources said policemen reportedly invaded the garage on Friday morning shooting sporadically and destroying commercial vehicles in the garage.
