Terror Strikes In Kogi state: Pastor killed In Ruthless Attack

Unknown gunmen invaded Aloko-Oganenigwu, a community in Kogi State, killing scores of people, including Pastor Jacob Wodi Hulobu.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Living Faith Church Pastor, Jacob Wodi Hulobu, has been reportedly killed in a community in Kogi State.
It was fathered that the cleric was shot dead by unknown gunmen who invaded Aloko- Oganenigwu in the state’s Dekina Local Government Area (LGA) last weekend.

Over a hundred gunmen stormed Aloko on Sunday and killed scores of people. The terror group invaded the community, shooting sporadically and burning hundreds of houses in the early Sunday morning attack.
It was reported that Pastor Hulobu escaped the morning attack with some of his members to a safer area when the gunmen struck while they were still observing Sunday service.
One of the church members, Samuel, who spoke with Daily Trust, said their Pastor went back to check the state of the church after the attack when the gunmen shot and killed him.
“He escaped during church service in the morning. He thought everything was calm and went back to check if the church was touched when he was killed,” said Samuel.
Pastor was said to have taken to his social media page, Facebook, precisely to narrate how he escaped the morning attack.

The deceased Pastor had organised a crusade programme christened ‘Let the fire fall: Three nights of Wanders,’ scheduled to hold between April 13th and 15th in the church before the incident.
Hulobu is survived by his wife and a child.
