TG Omori Reveals Failed Kidney Transplant After Brother’s Donation

Award-winning cinematographer and music producer, ThankGod Omori, popularly known as TG Omori, has shared the heartbreaking news of his failed kidney transplant, despite his brother’s selfless donation. Omori made this revelation on Wednesday, shortly after asking Nigerians to pray for him, as he battles severe health challenges.

In his message, Omori wrote, “One year after my kidney crashed, I just had a failed transplant at St. Nicholas Hospital, Lagos. Pray for me.” He also mentioned that he has already been in the operating theatre three times but believes it’s not his time to go yet.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Omori had previously disclosed that his only brother had donated a kidney to save his life, expressing his deep gratitude. “Yesterday, my only brother gave me one of his kidneys so I could live again. Keep my spirit alive. I don’t wanna die,” he wrote.

The music producer, who has been notably absent from the public eye, shared a photo of himself on a hospital bed, visibly emotional and receiving oxygen. Before the transplant, Omori had posted cryptic messages on social media about his health struggles, asking his followers to keep him in their prayers.
