Thierry Henry was already a legend when he made the switch from Arsenal to Fc Barcelona. The Gunners historic goal scorer was looking for a new challenge in La Liga and was eager to join his teammates, above all Henry got the chance to be coached by Pep Guardiola, although he later saw the strict side of him.
During a Champions League Group stage match in 2008, Thierry Henry made a fatal mistake in Guardiola’s eyes, he scored a goal. What’s wrong with that?
According to Henry, during training sessions, Guardiola would divide the pitch into two sides right and left, players from one side couldn’t move to the other side of the pitch.

The Frenchman revealed that the coach was strict about everyone staying in the positions he assigned them to during a match.
“Me being me I went there [to the right wing] to play with Leo Messi and I could hear him being upset because I wasn’t on the side of the dugout.
” I didn’t really care, you know. “I scored a goal, 1-0 up against Sporting Lisbon at half-time, all nice and everything, and he took me off. I was like ‘what did I do wrong?’ Henry confessed.
