EKO HOT BLOG reports that actor John Okafor, also known as Mr Ibu, and his wife, Stella Maria Okafor, have been at the centre of a controversy over the status of TikToker, Chioma Jasmine, in their family.
Stella released a video on Friday, February 3, alleging that Mr Ibu was involved in infidelity and physical assault, and claimed that Chioma was his side chick, not his adopted daughter as previously stated.
Chioma, who had been taking care of Mr Ibu during his hospitalization, spoke out in an interview with Daddy Freeze, denying the allegations and saying that she is indeed Mr Ibu’s adopted daughter.
Chioma also claimed that Stella was not present during Mr Ibu’s hospitalization and only visited to complain about the money being spent on his health.
Chioma went on to challenge Stella’s claims, stating that she is in charge of Mr Ibu’s social media accounts and is responsible for reviving and monetizing the accounts. Mr Ibu’s sons also spoke in support of Chioma, claiming that Stella was upset because she wanted control of the money.
The situation between Mr Ibu, his wife, and Chioma Jasmine remains unclear, with both sides presenting conflicting statements. The public is waiting for an official statement from Mr Ibu to resolve the matter.
“Iyawo, if you didn’t say what I’ve accused you of, let Jasmine die,” Chioma Jasmine said as she swore she’s telling the truth.
Watch Chioma speak in the video.
