The First African Player To Play In Premier League
- The English Premier League, popularly known as the premier league, is a competition between 20 different football clubs fighting against relegation, and fighting for the EPL title.
- All the clubs will play 38 matches each, including at home, and away.
- Coventry City was among the football clubs in the Premier League.
There is a period when managers of the club needed to sign new players. Peter Ndlovu, the former professional player from Zimbabwe, emerged as the first African player to play in the premier league, in 1991.
Coventry City, which was formerly Singers F.C, signed a contract with the Zimbabwean player, Peter Ndlovu.
He was born on the 25th of February, 1973.

On the 19th of August, 1992, history was made, when Peter Ndlovu started playing for Coventry City, as the first African to play in the English premier league.
He was a skillful player, and a goal-getter. He played professionally for Coventry City as a striker. He later played for Huddersfield, and Sheffield United, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.
As a striker, he was a key player during his period in Coventry City, before moving to Birmingham City, in July 1997.
In 1987, Coventry city won the FA Cup, after Tottenham Hotspur lost the match to them, a game that ended in 3-2 in favor of Coventry City.
In 2011, after he retired as a football player, he became the assistant coach for his country’s football team.
