‘The Godfather:’ Fubara Retains Wike’s SSG, Appoints Chief Of Staff With Close Ties To Former Governor

Eko Hot Blog reports that One month after his inauguration, Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara has appointed the Secretary to the State Government and the Chief of Staff, Government House, Port Harcourt.

Fubara in a Public Announcement signed by his media aide, Boniface Onyedi re-appointed Dr Tammy Danagogo who served under former Governor, Nyesom Woke as SSG for the same position.

The three-paragraph statement also announced the appointment of Hon. Chidi Amadi as Chief of Staff, Government House.

Hon Amadi until his appointment was the Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party in the Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of the state.

 

Former Governor Wike also hails from Ohio/Akpor LGA.

The statement reads, “His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, Governor of Rivers State has approved the appointment of the following persons: “Dr Tammy Wenike Danagogo, Secretary to the State Government. “Hon. Chidi Amadi, Chief of Staff, Government House.”
