The Mechanism Of China’s First Artificial Sun
- EKO HOT BLOG , 11th December, 2020
China has been able to power up its first artificial sun Nuclear Fusion reactor.
This will improve China’s nuclear power/reactor research capability and open more doors for powerful clean energy sources.
This device, located in Southwestern Sichuan Province is working based on the magnet field principle to fuse hot plasma which can generate a temperature of above 150 million degrees Celsius.
The so-called fusion is required to power the sun. It combines all atomic nuclei to produce high amounts of energy.
In detail, fusion is the reaction process in which two or more atoms are fused together to form one.

It is the opposite of the fission process in which one atom breaks into two or more atoms.
The advantage of Fusion over Fission is that it doesn’t generate any risk of atomic material since it doesn’t produce radioactive waste.
Although to finally achieve the fusion process, a huge amount of money is required.
