Nigeria COVID-19 Toll Nears 30,000 As NCDC Confirms 575 New Cases
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Monday announced that the country has recorded five hundred and seventy five fresh cases of the novel COVID-19 infection.
The agency made the announcement in its daily situation report of COVID-19 on its official twitter page.
According to the agency, of the 575 cases, 123 are confirmed in Lagos, FCT-100, Delta-58, Edo-52, Ogun-42, Katsina-24, Bayelsa-23, Rivers-22, Borno-19, Plateau-18, Ondo-18, Oyo-17, Kwara-15, Osun-13, Enugu-9, Nasarawa-7, Abia-6, Cross River-5, Kaduna-3, Ekiti-1

This brings the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 29,286, with 11,828 discharged and 654 deaths recorded.
