The Nigerian Army Speaks On The Next Set Of People They Will Go After

  • The Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai ordered his soldiers to go after and deal decisively with those who have been looting public and private properties.

After a close-door meeting on security related matters, the Nigerian Army made it known some set of people will be hunt after in few days by the Nigerian Army.

The EndSARS protests that have been making headline in most news platform was hijacked by thugs who took advantage of the protest to kill and injuring innocent Nigerians, security personnels and also destroyed many government and individual owned properties.

Hoodlums disgusted as protesters, broke into Police stations, killed some officers and made away with weapons.

It is said that people were angered after hearing of that soldiers allegedly opened fire on innocent protesters at Lekki Toll Gate, which caused death and injuring.

The Chief of Army Staff, Turkur Buratai held a crucial meeting with the Army hierarchy to decide on how best to combat the menace.

After the meeting with Principal Staff Officers, General Officers Commanding, and Field Commanders, which took place in Abuja, Buratai ordered them to go after and deal decisively with those who have been looting public and private properties. The aim of the order is to restore normalcy and law immediately.
