The Only Way Haaland Plays Versus Liverpool — Pep Guardiola

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has given a condition for Norway striker, Erling Haaland, to play against Liverpool in their upcoming English Premier League (EPL) match on Saturday. The coach stated that Haaland would only feature in the game if he passes a late fitness test.

Erling Haaland has been in excellent form for Manchester City since joining the club in January, scoring 28 goals in 26 appearances. However, he missed the recent international break due to discomfort in his groin, raising concerns about his availability for the Liverpool game.

Guardiola confirmed during a press conference on Friday that Haaland was not spotted in training the previous day, adding that the player’s fitness would be assessed after the team’s final training session on Friday afternoon.

“We’ll see this afternoon. We have the last training session at 4pm today, so then we will see how he feels,” Guardiola said, adding: “We’ll see today. And again, the doctors, and especially the player, will decide.”

The coach’s statement has heightened speculation that Haaland may miss the highly anticipated game against Liverpool. However, City fans remain hopeful that the striker would be fit to feature in the match.

Meanwhile, Guardiola has expressed confidence in his team’s ability to deliver a good performance against Liverpool, despite the uncertainty surrounding Haaland’s fitness.
