Eko Hot Blog reports that Super Eagles striker, Ademola Lookman, feels that his talents are most compatible with the Premier League. Born in England to Nigerian parents, Lookman kick-started his football career at Charlton Under-18.

After playing for Charlton’s senior team, Ademola Lookman embarked on a journey at various English clubs including Everton, Fulham, and Leicester. He also had a stint at RB Leipzig in Germany before making his move to Atalanta BC on August 4, 2022.
Since joining the Italian club, the 26-year-old Nigerian forward has tallied an impressive record of 24 goals and 12 assists in 66 matches across all competitions.
Before departing the Premier League, Ademola Lookman accumulated a total of 96 appearances for Leicester City, Everton, and Fulham. During this time, he contributed 11 goals and 6 assists to his teams’ efforts.

Lookman is convinced that his playing style is tailor-made for Premier League football, citing its compatibility with his attributes such as speed, physicality, and technical prowess.
“The Premier League is definitely suited to my style because it’s fast, technical, physical — and it’s the country I grew up in,” Lookman told The Athletic.
“But learning about the culture of football in Italy is really special. The build-up to the games, the atmosphere in the stadium, and the love that the fans have for football. It’s very special.”

Ademola Lookman and his teammates are gearing up to face Liverpool in the Europa League on Thursday, April 18, with the aim of knocking them out of the competition. In the first leg of the Europa League quarter-finals at Anfield last week, Atalanta secured a commanding 3-0 victory against the Premier League side.
