Moretto took to Twitter to share the news, saying that Messi had returned to Barcelona, where he considers his home and would like to play next year if the conditions are right. The Argentine is said to be spending time with his family while in the city.

During his visit, Messi is planning to catch up with some of his former Barcelona teammates, who recently defeated Atletico Madrid 1-0 in a La Liga match at Camp Nou. The meeting is expected to be a chance for Messi to spend time with old friends and also discuss future plans.
