-

-
Firmino was earlier reported to have agreed a deal with Barcelona ahead of a free transfer to the Catalan club.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that reports claiming that Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino has agreed to join Barcelona have been denied by sources from both sides.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Firmino is still considering various options from around the world, and while Barcelona is one of them, there has been no negotiation or agreement between the two parties.
The rumors about Firmino’s move to Barcelona started circulating after the club’s technical secretary, Ramon Planes, was spotted at Anfield during Liverpool’s match against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals.
Barcelona is in the market for a new striker to serve as a backup for Robert Lewandowski. While Firmino’s name has been mentioned, it is not the only one on the table.
Vitor Roque and Pierre Aubameyang are also options that are being considered, but no final decision has been made.
Barcelona’s priority targets this summer are reportedly Inigo Martinez, Ilkay Gündogan, and, of course, Lionel Messi, who they are eager to keep at the club.
