EKO HOT BLOG reports that in a swift response to recent speculation, Jorge Messi, father and representative of Argentine football superstar Lionel Messi, has refuted claims that his son will be making a move to Saudi Arabia in the upcoming season.
Reports had emerged on Tuesday suggesting that the Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) talisman had reached an agreement to play in Saudi Arabia, accompanied by rumors of a lucrative deal.
An undisclosed source from Saudi Arabia, close to the negotiations, informed AFP that a contract had been agreed upon, describing it as exceptional and substantial. However, Jorge Messi has categorically denied these reports, asserting that no agreement, whether verbal or otherwise, has been reached regarding his son’s future.
“We have not agreed to anything with any club for the next season,” Jorge Messi stated firmly. He further emphasized that a decision regarding Lionel Messi’s future will only be made at the end of the current season. Dismissing the reports as false, he condemned the circulation of misleading information exploiting his son’s name.
It is worth noting that Lionel Messi is presently under contract with Visit Saudi, a collaboration that involves him promoting the Kingdom’s tourist destinations. However, this endorsement agreement does not entail a professional move to a Saudi Arabian club.

Until then, the rumors surrounding a potential move to Saudi Arabia remain unsubstantiated, with Jorge Messi’s unequivocal denial adding to the uncertainty surrounding the superstar’s future destination.
