Their Feud Continues: Churchill Promises To Sue Tonto Dikeh

  • Olakunle Churchill warns Tonto Dikeh to retract her words or face being sued for defamatory statements.

  • This is in response to the former couple’s on-going feud that has led to a war of words traded online.

  • Churchill gives former wife 24 hours to retract statements or face lawsuit.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Olakunle Churchill, the ex-husband of Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh, has given her 24 hours to retract defamatory statements against him or face a lawsuit. This development is coming as a result of their ongoing social media altercation.

In a legal document released by Churchill’s lawyers, they accused Tonto of making false claims against their client, including describing him as a “fraudster, thief, blackmailer, and irresponsible father.”

EDITOR’S PICKS:

According to the document, these false statements have been made to tarnish Churchill’s image because their romantic relationship had ended.

The lawyers further stated that Tonto Dikeh had continuously defamed Churchill and shared false information and accusations about him on YouTube to make money at his expense.

The recent social media battle between Tonto and Churchill started after Tonto slammed Churchill for celebrating their son’s 7th birthday. She accused Churchill of trying to create the impression that he was trying to be in the child’s life. The exchange between the two of them has continued on social media, with each party sharing shreds of evidence against each other.

The legal document released by Churchill’s lawyers suggests that Tonto Dikeh’s statements against Churchill are defamatory and could cause harm to his reputation.

They have therefore given her 24 hours to retract the statements or face legal action. It is not clear if Tonto has responded to the legal notice as at the time of filing this report.
