Popular Nigerian politician and businessman, Ned Nwoko has cried out yesterday over an alleged plot to harm or kill him and his wife, Regina Daniels.

Ned Nwoko made the claims concerning the threat to his life and the life of Regina Daniels during a press conference in Abuja on Thursday.

Information gathered from EKO HOT BLOG reveal that Ned spoke at a conference in Abuja yesterday, where he claimed that an inmate in the Kuje correctional facility identified as Wale Jana informed his wife, Regina Daniels of the plot to harm both their lives.

According to Ned, Wale Jana pretended to be asleep when heard them plotting to harm him (Ned Nwoko) by conspiring with people outside the correctional facility.

Ned further revealed that the suspects who made the plot to harm and possibly kill him were “arrested and remanded at the Kuje Correctional Centre in connection with the murder case” in his community, Idumuje Ugboko kingdom in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State.

Ned Nwoko linked the alleged threat to the ongoing struggle for kingship of his native community in Delta State and tussle over a piece of land on which he plans to build a private university.

Ned claims his wife’s infromant had mysteriously died shortly after his release from the correctional facility, despite reporting the threat to security agencies, this forced him to cry out in the media.

Ned however added that the Nigeria Police Force and the Department of State Services have been informed concerning the development.
