There Is Urgent Need To Restructure Nigeria –Doguwa

The Majority Leader of the House of Representatives is Honourable Alhassan Ado-Doguwa, who represents the Tudun Wada/Doguwa Federal Constituency in Kano State.

In the current democratic system, he argued, the legislature had lived up to its expectations.

I’ve been in the National Assembly the whole time. In 1992, I was elected for the first time. I also have seven different return certificates.

Despite the fact that the seventh one was a rerun, it is still an election. So, in general, I have seven electoral certificates to serve in the House of Representatives.

And I’ve done so in a variety of roles.

I began as Vice Chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission’s (NDDC) House Committee and later became Chairman.

The Millennium Development Goals Committee of the House of Representatives (MDGs).

Later, as the Chief Whip of the House of Representatives in the 8th Assembly, I advanced to the position of Majority Leader, and now, by the Special Grace of God, I am serving as the Majority Leader of the Ninth Assembly.
