‘They Are Trying To Set Me Up’ – Rapper CDQ Says After NDLEA Allegedly Visited His Apartment
Yoruba Hip-Hop artist popularly known as CDQ Olowo has been a victim of alleged assault by law enforcement agencies in the country.
The rapper had been receiving messages from fans asking about his well-being after officials of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) were spotted at his apartment in Lagos.
Details about what actually happened at the rapper’s apartment have not been disclosed.
However, CDQ took to his official Twitter handle to lament that some persons are trying to set him up but God saved him.
He tweeted: “No sleep for the wicked. Your mother does not own the sun in Lagos. They tryna set me up but God came to my rescue.” (Note: part of the tweet was translated from Yoruba language).
In another tweet, the rapper said he had a lot to say but will have to wait until he recovers from the shock. “I have a lot to talk about but lemme get over the shock first…,” he wrote.
