EKO HOT BLOG reports that  Partey, who is currently in the final two months of his contract with the North London club, is focused on staying with Arsenal. The 31-year-old Ghanaian international joined the Premier League side from Atletico Madrid in 2020, but is set to become a free agent on July 1.
Interest in Partey has been growing, with both Barcelona and his former club Atletico Madrid reportedly keen on acquiring the midfielder. However, Partey will have the opportunity to join any club without a transfer fee this summer. Contract talks with Arsenal have been ongoing for several months, and manager Mikel Arteta has been eager to extend Partey’s time at the Emirates.
As reported by the Evening Standard, Partey has decided to remain with Arsenal and is working towards finalizing a contract extension before the team’s final Premier League match of the season against Southampton on May 25.
Meanwhile, Brazilian winger Vinicius Junior is actively working on enhancing his contract extension with Spanish giants Real Madrid. Sources suggest that Vinicius is using discussions around a potential offer from Saudi Arabia as part of his strategy, though no formal offer from the Gulf state currently exists.
Vinicius, considered one of Real Madrid’s standout talents, is currently contracted with the club until 2027 and is among the team’s highest earners. However, the specifics of a new deal are still being finalised. These negotiations come at a challenging time for Real Madrid, who, following their recent El Clásico defeat, are at risk of finishing the season without any major trophies, with Barcelona likely to secure the title.
Earlier reports indicated that Vinicius had received an enticing five-year contract worth £830 million to play in Saudi Arabia, which would also see him become an ambassador for the 2034 World Cup. However, Marca has since reported that the player does not currently have any concrete offer from Saudi Arabia, and he continues to negotiate with Real Madrid.
According to Marca, there is a discrepancy between the salary increase that Vinicius is seeking—an increase from his current annual earnings of under €17 million to approximately €30 million—and what Real Madrid is willing to offer. His current contract, signed in 2022, places him among the top earners at the club, alongside Kylian Mbappe, who joined Real Madrid last summer.

However, Jude Bellingham, after his impressive debut season in 2023-2024, has been offered more favourable terms.
To advance the negotiations, Vinicius’ representatives at Roc Nation Brazil are reportedly emphasizing their discussions with Saudi Pro League clubs as a negotiating tactic. Nevertheless, no formal rival offer is believed to be in place at the moment.
