Three Final Year Medical Students ‘Missing’ After Their Boat Sank In Calabar
EkoHotBlog reports that three final-year medical students are reportedly missing after their boat sank in Marina Resort, Calabar, Cross River State.
The students were on a boat cruise at the resort as part of events slated for the Calabar University Medical Association (CUMSA) week when the unfortunate incident happened.
It was gathered that at least 14 of the students were rescued by the Nigerian navy while at least two of them are still missing.

The Cross River police spokesperson, Irene Ugbo, who confirmed the incident to our correspondent on Sunday evening, said efforts are being intensified to rescue the missing students.
EkoHotBlog reports that the incident is the second fatal boat mishap reported in the country in less than two weeks.
Barely two weeks ago, EkoHotBlog reported how 103 persons died in a boat accident at Egbu village in Patigi Local Government Area of Kwara State.
