Three Super Eagles star makes the Confederation of African Football (CAF) 30-man shortlist for the 2019 African Player of the Year award.
The Africa football governing body on Sunday announced the nominees for the Africa’s prestigious award with Nigerian younger star, Victor Osimhen, with a surprise inclusion.
Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah, is joined by Percy Tau of South Africa, Nigeria’s duo of Odion Ighalo and Wilfred Ndidi.
Salah beat Liverpool teammate Sadio Mane and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to the prize last year.

2016 winner Riyad Mahrez, 2019 African Cup of Nations top scorer Odion Ighalo and Atletico Madrid midfielder, Thomas Partey, are also in the running.
The award holds on Tuesday, January 7 2020, at Citadel Azure, Hurghada, Egypt.
