Eko hot blog reports that In a bid to drive rapid development in education, trade, and investment across Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,Abbas,Uba, is set to inaugurate the groundbreaking Zazzau National Education Trade and Investment Summit (ZANETIS).
The event, slated to run from May 3rd to May 12th, 2024, in Zaria, Kaduna State, is poised to be a game-changer.
Under the theme “Consolidating on the gains of Democracy for Rapid Development in Education, Trade, and Investment in Nigeria,” the summit is a collaborative effort between ZAZCCIMA Investment Ltd, the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment (FMTI) in Abuja, and the Zazzau Emirate Community Advancement Foundation (ZECAF).
Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, will be the chief host, with Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State as the special host and Emir Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli of Zazzau as the royal father of the event, Tinubu Abbas Uba.
This summit holds significant promise for the Zazzau Emirate, Kaduna State, and Nigeria at large.
While Zazzau Emirate has long been known for its educational prowess, it has yet to fully leverage its potential in trade and industries, Limited commercial activities and insufficient government and private investments have held back progress.
According to Malam Yahaya Garba, Garkuwan Madakin Zazzau of ZAZCCIMA Investment Limited, the summit aims to showcase and promote opportunities across various sectors of the economy.
These include agriculture and agro-allied activities, collaboration with leather research institutions to boost leather goods, and facilitating knowledge exchange and ideation to nurture new businesses and industries.
Furthermore, the summit will capitalize on the concentration of higher learning institutions in the Zazzau Emirate to unveil hidden academic research findings, student projects, and innovations capable of attracting investments not only in education but also in other sectors of the Nigerian economy.
As part of the summit’s agenda, a two-day seminar will address the declining standards of education in Kaduna State and Nigeria, spanning from primary and secondary schools to institutions of higher learning.
The Zazzau National Education Trade and Investment Summit represents a crucial step towards unlocking the full potential of the region and driving inclusive growth and development across Nigeria.
