Tinubu Appoints New CEOs To Steer The Affairs Of Federal Agencies

Eko Hot Blog reports that President Bola Tinubu has announced the appointment of Engr. Chukwuemeka Woke as the Director-General/Chief Executive Officer of the National Oil Spill Detection and Response Agency (NOSDRA).

He also appointed Dr. Adedeji Ashiru as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority (OORBDA).

Engr. Woke, with a background in engineering and environmental specialization, brings a diverse skill set to his new role.

Chukwuemeka Woke

Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Petrochemical Engineering, he has served in various capacities within the environmental and operations departments of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).

His experience as the Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State and Chief of Staff at the Government House, Port Harcourt, underscores his leadership abilities.

Dr. Adedeji Ashiru

Dr. Ashiru, appointed as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of OORBDA, holds a Doctorate degree in Engineering from the Commonwealth University, UK.

With extensive experience in leadership roles across blue-chip companies, Dr. Ashiru brings a blend of academic excellence and professional acumen to his new position.

President Tinubu has expressed confidence in the capabilities of the newly appointed CEOs, expecting them to utilize their expertise for the advancement of their respective agencies.

The President has emphasized the importance of achieving sustainable progress and operational transparency under their leadership.
