President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Accra, Ghana to participate in the Sixth Mid-Year Coordination Meeting of the African Union, which includes RECs, RMs, and AU Member States.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Accra, Ghana, to participate in the Sixth Mid-Year Coordination Meeting of the African Union (AU), the Regional Economic Communities (RECs), the Regional Mechanisms (RMs), and the African Union Member States.
The Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, announced this in a brief statement on X on Saturday.

He said, “President Tinubu lands in Accra. President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Accra, Ghana, for the 6th Mid-Year Coordinating Meeting of the African Union, which begins tomorrow.”
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amb Yusuf Tuggar, and the Charge D’Affaires at the Nigerian High Commission in Ghana, Amb Dayo Adeoye, were among the officials who welcomed President Tinubu on his arrival at Kotoka International Airport on Saturday.
This online media platform gathered that Tinubu in his capacity as the Chairman of ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government, will address the meeting on the status of regional integration across various areas in Africa, highlighting the achievements and challenges encountered in West Africa since the last meeting in Nairobi, Kenya, in July 2023.
The President and Chairman of ECOWAS will present the ‘2024 Report on the State of the Community’, focusing on peace, regional security, governance, economic integration, humanitarian and social development, energy, mines and agriculture.
