This year’s theme, “Building a Just World and a Sustainable Planet,” will focus on critical global challenges, including the fight against hunger and poverty, reforms of global governance institutions, sustainable development, and energy transition.

President Tinubu is also expected to hold bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the event to advance Nigeria’s socio-economic reforms and global standing.

Nigeria has consistently advocated for reforms in global governance, presenting itself as a candidate for a permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council.
