President Bola Tinubu recently announced several new appointments, including notable figures from Katsina, the home state of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Governor Faruq Jobe of Katsina praised Tinubu for acknowledging the state’s leadership capabilities and experience.

- Aminu Bello Masari
- Appointed as Chairman of the Board of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund). Masari will oversee efforts to support tertiary education in Nigeria.
- Kabir Ibrahim Mashi
- Appointed as Federal Commissioner of the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC). Mashi’s role will be crucial in enhancing the commission’s revenue mobilization and allocation efforts, promoting transparency and accountability.
- Abdullahi Alhassan Imam
- Appointed as Programme Manager of the National Cash Transfer Office (NCTO). Imam will manage the implementation of the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP), including the Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) scheme, providing financial aid to vulnerable households.
- Badamasi Lawal Charanchi
- Appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA). Charanchi will oversee various NSIP initiatives, including Conditional Cash Transfer, National Home-Grown School Feeding, and N-Power programmes, aimed at reducing poverty and improving livelihoods in Nigeria.
