EKO HOT BLOG reports that as the Muslim sallah celebration approaches, Bola Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State and APC presidential candidate for 2023, has distributed 3,000 bags of rice to Muslim faithful in Nasarawa State.
Tinubu, who distributed the rice bags in Lafia on Friday, urged the recipients not to sell the rice and instead use it for the intended purpose, saying the gesture was also intended to improve their standard of living.
The APC presidential aspirant was represented by the Nasarawa State Coordinator, Bola Ahmed Tinubu Asiwaju Campaign Organisation, Yusuf Omaki.
He said, “This gesture is to provide succour to the people especially the less privileged in Nasarawa State ahead of this year’s Eid el-Fitr celebrations.
