EKO HOT BLOG reports that Prophet Wale Ojo-David, the Chief Shepherd of The Harvest Centre Mission, expresses his belief that the election of Tinubu as the President-elect is a divine occurrence and encourages Nigerians to accept it with goodwill.
Addressing the legitimacy concerns surrounding Tinubu’s victory, the prophet, based in Ikorodu-Lagos, shared that God has appointed Tinubu to lead Nigeria and Africa towards progress.
It is worth noting that Ojo-David, renowned for his accurate prophecies, had previously predicted in 2021 that Senator Bola Ahmed-Tinubu would become Nigeria’s next president.
Tinubu was declared the winner of the presidential election held on February 25, 2023, according to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). However, the outcome of the election is currently being contested by other candidates in court.
Ojo-David expresses concern about the prevailing tension in the nation due to the ongoing litigation against the president-elect.
He urges Nigerians to avoid animosity and recognize the legitimacy of Tinubu’s mandate. The spiritual leader of the Harvest Centre Mission emphasizes that one aspect of Tinubu’s divine mandate is to provide unified and effective leadership for the development and liberation of Nigeria and Africa as a whole.
According to Ojo-David, God’s selection of leaders is not based on human criteria but on factors that align with His purpose in a given time. He asserts that as people of God, it is crucial to harness the readily available grace of God to pray for our leaders so that they stay committed to God’s mandate for them.
The prophet stresses that the interests of the nation and the well-being of its citizens should outweigh personal, religious, and sectional interests.
Presently, these divisive forces seem to be at play, leading to disunity, hatred, and sensationalism, which threaten the fabric of society.
Ojo-David expresses disapproval of misleading public statements made by certain religious leaders. He urges clerics to seek guidance from the Holy Spirit, particularly regarding matters of public interest, before making pronouncements, to prevent the overheating of the political climate.
