EKO HOT BLOG reports that the national leader of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) and former Lagos Governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, is billed to deliver the 25th convocation lecture of the Lagos State University (LASU) Ojo on Tuesday, March 22, 2022.
Presidential hopeful, Asiwaju Tinubu, will deliver a paper titled: “Global trends: Nigeria’s rightful place in the world”.
The Vice-Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, who disclosed this during the pre-convocation press briefing on campus, said the ceremony will be chaired by Katsina State Governor Aminu Masari.
Prof Olatunji-Bello said that 112 would be awarded first class, which is the highest so far to be churned out by the institution.
She also said 7,232 students would be graduating with 4,994 in the bachelor’s degree level, 1,792 are at the postgraduate level and 451 for diploma.
According to the VC, other activities lined up for the convocation are the conferment of Emeritus status on Distinguished Professor Peter Okebukola.
