Eko Hot Blog reports that President Bola Tinubu has approved new appointments to the Board of the Nigerian Consumer Credit Corporation (CREDICORP).
Engr. Uzoma Nwagba has been named as the MD/CEO of the board, while Otunba Aderemi Abdul will serve as the Board Chairman (Independent Non-Executive Director).
The appointed Executive Directors are: Mrs. Aisha Abdullahi as Executive Director (Credit, Risk & Portfolio)/CRO, and Ms. Olanike Kolawole as Executive Director (Operations)/COO.

The Non-Executive Directors include: Dr. Armstrong Ume Takang (MOFI Nominee), Dr. Peter Iwegbu (NIMC Nominee), Mr. Mohammed Nasiru Abbas (FMITI Nominee), Marvin Nadah (FCCPC Nominee), and a representative from FMF.
A statement by the Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity), Chief Ajuri Ngelale, said: “The President expects the new members of the Board of this pivotal institutional vehicle to bring their vast experience, competence, and dedication to bear in their functions to achieve CREDICORP’s mandate of accelerating access to consumer credit to millions of Nigerians.”
