EKO HOT BLOG reports that History had been removed from Nigeria’s school curriculum in 2007, a decision that has been widely criticized over the years.

Speaking on the issue, Alausa emphasized the need for Nigerian students to reconnect with their country’s history, explaining, “One important thing that has been missing in the past is Nigerian history.

We have now people of 30 years disconnected from our history, and it doesn’t happen in any part of the world.”

Alausa further highlighted that President Tinubu recognized the importance of reintroducing History to bridge the generational gap in historical knowledge.
