The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has announced that President Bola Tinubu has instructed him to meet the needs of Abuja residents.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Wike made this statement on Wednesday during the launch of the rehabilitation of the 10-kilometer Aguma Palace-Radio Nigeria-New Market Road in the Gwagwalada Area Council.
Wike noted that the road was selected for rehabilitation during an interactive town hall meeting between the FCT Administration and the area councils.

He emphasized that the era of neglecting projects is over and reaffirmed the FCTA’s commitment to positively impacting the FCT area councils.
“I want to reiterate that Mr. President has directed us to provide whatever you ask for. Today, by the grace of God, one of your special requests—the reconstruction of this crucial road segment—is being addressed,” he stated.
“This is not the time for contracts to be awarded and then abandoned. This contract has been awarded and flagged off today, and it will be commissioned next year.
