EKO HOT BLOG reports that Nollywood actress, Eniola Badmus, has expressed her opinion on the upcoming presidential election in Nigeria, stating that President Muhammadu Buhari is not supporting the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu to emerge as the winner in the February 25th election.
According to reports, this statement was made amidst the controversy surrounding the Naira redesign policy, which many APC chieftains believe was targeted at Tinubu’s victory and has caused confusion among them.
Eniola Badmus took to her Instagram page to share her thoughts on the issue, stating that although Tinubu was instrumental in Buhari becoming the president, the same cannot be said for Buhari in helping Tinubu to emerge as president.
She further expressed her confidence in Tinubu winning the election, stating that if he does emerge as the winner, it would not be solely because of his party being in power but because of the faith that many Nigerians have in him personally.
Eniola Badmus also emphasized that Tinubu is fighting his battle alone and that no one should attribute his victory to the APC as he is personally fighting for his aspirations.
The upcoming presidential election has generated a lot of interest and debate among Nigerians, with various politicians and stakeholders expressing their opinions on the matter. As the election draws closer, it remains to be seen which candidate will emerge as the winner and take the mantle of leadership in Nigeria.
She wrote:
“Let it be known that if Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu wins this election, it’s not because his party is the ruling party. It’s because of the faith Nigerians have in him personally.
‘While Tinubu can boast that he was instrumental to PMB becoming president, PMB can not say he’s been instrumental in achieving Tinubu’s presidency. No one should later say Tinubu won because his party is in power. He is fighting his battle himself.”
