Ademola Oshodi, a media aide of the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Asiwaju Tinubu, has refuted claims that his principal is currently being managed in a private facility in France for the novel coronavirus.
As gathered by EkoHotBlog, recent reports have suggested that the former Lagos State Governor had been admitted in an unnamed facility before the new year, amid mounting speculations that the APC leader is battling with COVID-19.
In a reactionary statement, Ademola Oshodi, a media aide of the veteran politician repudiated the claims in no uncertain terms, stating that Tinubu is indeed in London and not in France as speculated.

Ademola, who took to his Twitter handle to clear the air surrounding the recent reports, also dismissed claims that his principal is in any way being treated for any ailment. He said Tinubu is merely taking a rest in London contrary to viral reports that he is secretly being treated for COVID-19.
“This story is inaccurate, Asiwaju is healthy and does not have COVID-19. He has, since early last year, undergone multiple PCR tests and each time he has tested negative for the virus. Since the advent of the pandemic, Asiwaju has always done his level best to observe, as strictly as humanly possible, all government advice and safety protocols to prevent the spread of the virus and to keep himself and those around him safe from harm.”
“Shortly before Christmas, he indeed travelled out of Nigeria for his annual holiday. This is something he does each year to give himself a chance to rest and reflect on the year just passed while also preparing for the challenges and opportunities of the one to come.” Ademola wrote on Twitter.
