Tinubu Returns To Nigeria After Saudi Arabia, Guinea-Bissau Trips

Eko Hot Blog reports that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to Abuja after official visits to Saudi-Arabia and Guinea-Bissau.

The president landed in Abuja after attending the Independence day ceremony in Guinea-Bissau.

This platform had earlier reported Tinubu’s departure from Guinea-Bissau after attending the nation’s Independence day ceremony.

Guinea-Bissau marked its 50th Independence Anniversary on September 24, 2023, but the government had scheduled all celebrations for November 16, 2023.

Before his trip to Guinea-Bissau, Tinubu was in Saudi Arabia where he perform pilgrimage.

While in Saudi Arabia to attract foreign direct investment and mobilise capital to build needed infrastructure, Tinubu signed preliminary agreements on energy-related cooperation.

He also secured a multi-billion dollar infrastructure finance facility from the Islamic Development Bank to fund a multi-sectoral portfolio of infrastructure projects at Nigeria’s federal and sub-national levels.
