Tinubu’s Son Seyi Donates ₦500 Million To Maiduguri Flood Victims

Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, recently visited Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State, to offer substantial assistance to those affected by the recent flooding.

Accompanied by his brother, Yinka Tinubu, and a group of friends and associates, Seyi provided over ₦500 million in relief support to the devastated community.

The donation aims to aid thousands of individuals whose lives were disrupted by the disaster. During his visit, Seyi emphasized the importance of supporting the youth, a group particularly impacted by the flood.

“This initiative marks the beginning of long-term support for the people of Borno,” Seyi stated, underscoring his commitment to ongoing relief efforts.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Upon arrival at the state government house, Seyi was warmly received by Governor Babagana Zulum and other dignitaries.

Addressing the residents, Seyi praised their resilience in overcoming the security challenges that have plagued the state in recent years. He expressed optimism that Borno State would recover and emerge stronger from the flood’s devastation.

“We are here today not just as representatives of our family but as part of a collective effort by young Nigerians to bring hope and relief to those in need. This is a moment for solidarity, compassion, and immediate action,” Seyi said.

He added, “Maiduguri and Borno State have rich histories, and despite the challenges of recent years, the people have shown remarkable strength. This tragic flood deserves our collective effort, support, and prayers. It also calls for active collaboration and contributions.”

Seyi highlighted that the relief initiative was inspired by his father, President Bola Tinubu, who recently visited Maiduguri and called on the private sector and individuals to support affected communities. Seyi, alongside his wife Layal, through the Noella Foundation, his brother Yinka, friends, and private sector partners, responded swiftly to the needs of those displaced by the tragedy.
