Eko Hot Blog repoprts that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has named Baffa Dan Agundi as the new Director-General of the National Productivity Centre (NPC), signaling a fresh direction for the organization.
The appointment was announced on Saturday through a statement from Ajuri Ngelale, the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity.
Dan Agundi brings a diverse background to the role, having served as both the Majority Leader in the Kano State House of Assembly and as Principal Registrar of the Kano State High Court of Justice.
This blend of legislative and administrative experience is expected to be valuable in his new position.
The President’s office expressed high expectations for Dan Agundi’s tenure, emphasizing the importance of fostering a culture of excellence and productivity across the nation.
The statement highlighted the President’s vision for the NPC under Dan Agundi’s leadership:

This appointment comes as part of a series of leadership changes in various government agencies under the Tinubu administration.
The President has recently made appointments to other key positions, including new leadership for the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) and the appointment of a Special Adviser on Senate Matters.
