Tinubu’s Adviser Accuses Atiku, Obi, Journalist Of Manipulating FBI Documents Release

EKO HOT BLOG reports Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Information and Strategy, has accused Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and journalist David Hundeyin of collaborating with Aaron Greenspan to expedite the release of FBI files on President Tinubu.

Tinubu’s legal team in the US filed motions to intervene in an ongoing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the FBI and CIA, seeking records related to Tinubu’s identity and activities.

Christopher Carmichael, one of Tinubu’s lawyers, submitted the motion to appear in the FOIA lawsuit in Washington D.C. Onanuga alleged that Atiku, Obi, and Hundeyin hired Greenspan to pressure the FBI into releasing the files before their scheduled release date.

He further claimed that Peter Obi shared the Supreme Court notice of hearing with Greenspan, with the appeal set to begin on October 23. Onanuga criticized these actions as propaganda and misinformation.

He noted that previous attempts to scrutinize President Tinubu’s records had confirmed his academic credentials were genuine. Atiku and Obi, who lost the February 2023 elections, were seen as grasping at straws.

Greenspan’s motion sought to change the court’s previous order and pcompel the FBI to produce the documents immediately. He also made allegations against the Nigerian judiciary, influenced by Hundeyin, Obi, and Atiku, claiming that the FBI documents were relevant to the Nigerian case.

.Onanuga concluded by asserting that Greenspan and his collaborators were misguided in their actions, and the matter should be left for the DC District Court to decide. He believed that this legal maneuver, similar to the Chicago case, would lead to no substantial outcome.
