Tinubu’s New CEOs: Who Are They And What Do They Bring To The Table?

Eko Hot Blog reports that President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of two new CEOs for the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI) and the National Social Investment Programmes Agency (NSIPA).

Mr Aliyu Ahmed has been appointed as the new Federal Commissioner/Chief Executive Officer of the NCFRMI. Ahmed holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Sociology and has previously served the Nasarawa State Government as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, and Commissioner for Education.

Mrs. Delu Yakubu has been appointed as the pioneer National Coordinator/Chief Executive Officer of the NSIPA. Yakubu is a recipient of a Master’s degree in agronomy from the State University of Bio-Technology in Kharkiv, Ukraine, with over 15 years of working experience in Social Investment Programme management.

The appointments take immediate effect, subject to Senate confirmation.

In a statement, President Tinubu directed the new CEOs to convey the highest level of efficiency, transparency, and qualitative service delivery at their respective agencies. He said that this is in line with his determination to actualize his Renewed Hope agenda.

The appointment of new CEOs for the NCFRMI and NSIPA is a positive development. Both agencies play important roles in supporting vulnerable Nigerians. Ahmed and Yakubu have the experience and expertise to lead these agencies effectively.
