Eko Hot Blog reports that in a resounding show of support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope” agenda, Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, has encouraged the President to remain steadfast in his initiatives and policies, asserting that Nigerians believe these measures will make the country a better place for all.

Speaking during a Special Interdenominational Prayer Day for the Nation and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, organized by the Justice Forum Association of Nigeria, Hamzat conveyed a message of unwavering faith in Tinubu’s vision. “My message for him is to be focused. He shouldn’t be worn out. We believe in his policies and we know that at the end of it, Nigeria will be a better country,” he stated.
Hamzat extolled Tinubu’s intelligence, experience, and economic prowess, describing him as “a man of prestige and economic wizardry, who is capable of raising the economic status of the country to how it ought to be.” He emphasized, “We believe in his policies and intelligence.”
Reflecting on the Justice Forum’s foundation and its significance in Lagos’ political history, Hamzat underscored the importance of history in the nation’s affairs. “History is important in the affairs of the country, adding that everything in life must have a history to aid a better understanding of the foundational basis of some things and as a reference for generations yet unborn,” he said.
Addressing the issue of negative narratives circulating on social media, Hamzat urged Nigerians, especially social media users, to desist from peddling negative stories about their leaders. “Instead, they should use the platform to express the positivities inherent in our dear nation,” he stated.
Hamzat offered fervent prayers for God’s guidance and protection over the President, stating, “Nigerians are praying for him, Lagosians are praying for him as well as other Nigerians across the country. Lagos people are behind him, and other Nigerians are behind him so that he can be able to achieve the desired results for Nigeria.”

The event witnessed the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including former Deputy Governors Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, Princess Sarah Sosan, and Mrs. Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, as well as the Governor Advisory Council Leaders, led by Prince Tajudeen Olusi, who praised the virtues of President Tinubu.
Prince Olusi highlighted the legacy of the late Oba Mufutau Olatunji Hamzat, describing him as the pillar of the Justice Forum, known for his straightforwardness, god-fearing nature, and astute political beliefs rooted in justice for all.
