As Muslims, you should not forget the main reason behind the fast in the month of Ramadan, especially at this period of lockdown. Fast at this period is to test the pious ones among the believers. He that engages in the good deeds throughout the period and continues with the good deeds after Ramadan is the pious one at the sight of Almighty Allah.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ بْنِ قَعْنَبٍ، وَقُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُغِيرَةُ، – وَهُوَ الْحِزَامِيُّ – عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، – رضى الله عنه – قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ” الصِّيَامُ جُنَّةٌ ” .
Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:
Fasting is a shield.

Narrated Sahl bin Sa`d:
Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, “The people will remain on the right path as long as they hasten the breaking of the fast.”
