In her Tuesday post, Amusan highlighted that the film provides an in-depth look at her ascent to fame, focusing on her emotional battle to clear her name following a doping scandal that shook her career.

In the caption accompanying the feature-length documentary, she wrote, “Over the past couple of years, I’ve been pouring my heart into a project that shares my journey—the highs, the struggles and everything in between.
“I’m beyond excited to finally give you a glimpse of what it’s all about what with this teaser.
“This isn’t just another documentary—this is your opportunity to be part of something special.”
The trailer highlights Tobi Amusan’s career-defining moments, including her historic world-record run at the 2022 World Athletics Championships in Oregon.
It also depicts her more sombre experiences while grappling with the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) regarding anti-doping violations.
In 2023, Amusan faced an indefinite suspension for “missing three tests in 12 months,” and it wasn’t until June 2024 that she was exonerated when the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) dismissed the AIU’s case against her.

Fans can look forward to an unfiltered portrayal of her life, showcasing both the triumphs and challenges that have shaped her extraordinary journey.
The release date for the documentary has not yet been revealed.
Amusan expressed confidence in her chances of securing a medal at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, especially after not medaling in the previous two editions in 2016 and 2020 in Rio and Tokyo, respectively. However, the Nigerian team did not manage to clinch a medal at the tournament.
