The Bundesliga outfit told would-be buyers that the 19-year-old was not for sale this year, having already lost Erling Haaland.
But a free-for-all is expected to go ahead next year with the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United eyeing the England international. But there is further competition across Europe with Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid also heavily interested.

But Boehly has not been put off and will make inroads into persuading Bellingham and his representatives that Stamford Bridge is the right place for him.
Furthermore, the American billionaire has made it his personal mission to do so and is looking to build relationships with Dortmund and the player.
A top-class midfielder is top of the wish list next year with N’Golo Kante and Jorginho in their 30s and in the last year of their contracts. Declan Rice remains on the club’s radar but West Ham demanded £130million.
